Step 1

Conversation

We start by talking with you to get a good sense for what you’re looking to achieve. We’ll also work with you to develop a clear understanding about the services you offer. This is where we’ll want to establish your short-term and long-term goals.

We usually have these conversations over email since it keeps all the ideas in the same place and doesn’t require aligning everybody’s schedule. Of course, it’s your business and we’re more than willing to accommodate the communication medium that works best for you—phone call, Skype, FaceTime, carrier pigeon—just let us know and we’ll make it happen.

Step 2

Copywriting

We ask you the questions and we take care of all the research and writing. It's our job to come up with the answers to the biggest questions. What will visitors to the website feel? How will it delight them? Why will someone pick your services over the competition? We take writing very seriously, and we absolutely love this part of the process.

Once we get your notes and approval, we’ll move on to the next step. It’s worth noting here that some of our clients prefer a hands-on approach, while others want our team to handle all the details. Whatever your preference is, we’re always happy to oblige.

Step 3

Design

Now that we’ve laid the groundwork and written everything out, the next step is to create a design that communicates the spirit of your business. We understand that appearances are important, especially in this competitive market.

Throughout the design process, we continually challenge ourselves to look at it from the perspective of your audience. How does a particular design decision enhance your business? What’s the best way to convey trust, reliability, and authority? We’ll make sure each aspect of the website strongly accomplishes these goals.

The end result is a one-of-a-kind design tailored specifically to your business.

Step 4

Development

Once the design is finalized, we’ll begin the development phase. This is where we get to geek out. The development phase is extremely rewarding for us because it’s when we bring the design to life! At the end of this phase, we send you a fully-functional prototype.

This is usually our clients’ favorite part, because they get to test drive their new website!

Step 5

Testing & Deployment

After we’ve reviewed any remaining notes you have for us, our team rigorously tests your new website. How does it look on mobile phones? Tablets? How about on Windows? And macOS? We have this covered.
